The inaugural Senior Living 100 Conference, March 11 – 13, 2012, in San Diego, was a resounding success that helped galvanize the senior living community and established an annual destination for C-level leaders from Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Continuing Care Retirement Communities.

Nearly 100 senior executives, including CEOs, Presidents, CFOs and COOs, from senior living organizations with at least 500 units or beds — in addition to a select group of suppliers — came to learn about strategies and solutions to their high-priority issues. The education program, which ranged from small-group simulations to large general sessions, was relevant and robust, including sessions on Medical Acuity, Integrated Data, Cross-Continuum Partnerships, Memory Care, Healthcare Reform and much more.

In line with the 2012 theme of “Envisioning the Future of Senior Living,” the inaugural Senior Living 100 gave rise to a conference committed to answering the critical question, today and in the years to come, of what future trends will affect senior living and how innovative leaders can translate them into action and opportunities.
